Buoy is a truly sweet and gorgeous dog.  She is healthy and active for her 11 years, loves tagging along on short jogs or long walks - then a nice long nap.  She doesn't need the exercise so much as loves to be out sniffing the world. She'll always let us know when a thunderstorm is coming or if a parasailer is flying in the area.  She is not fearful, just likes to keep her airspace clear (haha).  Buoy likes other dogs and a good game of chase, but is not much for wrestling.

 

She sleeps and naps in one of her beds, in the kitchen and our bedroom, which we'll send with her.  She loves to feel like she's in a little den, which applies great to a big crate (will send that too) if you need to keep her in there for part of the day.  She can manage 4-6 hours OK, without having to go out.  She had a clear vet checkup in 2023 and is up to date on all her vaccines/heartworm meds.  We usually feed her Wellness brand food for Aging Dogs.  She is not picky, but some foods  (and table scraps) give her a bit of GI distress.  She will almost always whine and come get you when she needs to go out.

 

Buoy is also a sensitive dog and will pout even with a stern verbal correction (which is a bit funny, actually).  So she needs a gentle, calm home and does not recommend unsupervised or long interactions with young children.  Please follow this link for some additional photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Ycenmbddj1UZXJZJ6
