UPDATE:  For the most part, Hush Puppy is a pretty laid back beagle girl. She is not really interested in a lot of playing around, but she IS interested in affection and food. She is fed in her crate as she would probably do her best to eat the other dog's food that is in her foster home! She will also sit obediently for a treat. Hush Puppy is gentle with the small children in the home but has definitely focused on "mom"! She follows her around the house no matter where she goes! We reckon sweet little Hush Puppy must be happy to not be a stray anymore!! She has been good in the house - not getting into any mischief and has picked up on the pottying routine. Hush Puppy is crated when left alone and, although she uses her little beagle voice to express her displeasure at this, she is not destructive and is just happy to see the family return. 

This sweet and smart girl will make a great family pet!

New Arrival:  HUSH PUPPY is a new arrival ffrom Louisiana who was found as a stray and her owners could not belocated.  HUSH PUPPY is a happy Beagle mix girl  whose foster reports to be house and crate trained.  In true Beagle fashion, HUSH PUPPY will slip out the door if you are not careful and can be quite talkative if she is not happy.
