COMPASSIONATE CARE CASE
***UPDATE*** Doolittle is doing really well in his foster home! He has learned the dog door and goes outside when he wants to potty or just sniff about. "Little Doo" likes to be near his foster mom and has his own little bed next to her desk - but he's quite comfortable on one of the other dog beds scattered about the house. He is friendly with the other dogs but lives a quite life... except when he is hungry. His appetite is great!! We know from our veterinarian the signs to look for, and he is on a liver support supplement, but so far he has excellent quality of life.
Doolittle was found by a good samaritan found and brought him to a vet. We are so grateful for her kindness! The vet did what they could and then turned him over to the County shelter who contacted us. Fortunately we had a foster and could take him. Doolittle has an inoperative mass on his liver and his prognosis is noted as "poor to grave" with a "VERY imited time." We will have him seen by our vet soon but Doolittle will definitely have all the love and comfort we can possibly provide for him. Doolittle is not available for adoption but if you would like to contribute towards his care we would be happy for your help.
