Ziti has not quite grasped that she no longer has to track rabbits. When she's outside her little nose is sniffing away while she is calling to the pack. She will definitely follow a treat with excitement back into the house or can be leashed and encouraged back inside. Inside she is quiet and so curious about all the unknown things around her. Ziti loves people and craves affection. She will lick your fingers and give you kisses. Ziti eats her meals and sleeps in her crate. She has not quite gotten the hang of house training yet but she'll get there!
NEW ARRIVAL
Ziti is a pasta perfect beagle but we rescued her from a not so great situation. She was bred to be a competition rabbits tracker - which is helpful because she is not a runner, just a sniffer. Ziti was no longer useful and her life was hard and limited as she lived outside in a cage. We are so grateful to introduce her to being clean, eating good food and being shown lots of affection. She is grateful too! We will be looking forward to sharing more about Ziti as she settles into a foster home and we learn about her social skills, personality and temperament. She did test negative for heartworms!!!
