UPDATE: 9/3/22-
Gilmore is getting along well with the other dog in the foster home. He walks well on leash. He is very food motivated, especially with treats. Sometimes he tries to counter surf but will stop when told NO. He sleeps in crate at night in the bedroom thru the night. He is doing well with house training.He is usually pretty quiet. Overall he is a very sweet dog who likes to be close to his humans and is a very happy dog who can be playful. Would probably do well with another dog to play with.

Gilmore is a curious puppy. He hadn’t lived in a house before, so when he arrived in his Louisiana foster home at the end of July he had much to learn. He has made good progress but still needs a bit of polish to his training. Gilmore is very sensitive to correction so positive reinforcement works much better with him. He has an outgoing friendly temperament and loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. Cuddling with his humans is okay... but he definitely likes getting attention from other dogs. Gilmore is a very happy beagle boy.
