Update 10/5/25: Gustavo continues to thrive in his foster home and his foster mom has only wonderful things to say! Check out the new videos posted of Gus playing with his favorite ball and snuggling with his auntie. Gustavo is a lively senior who has oodles of love to give. He was previously very neglected so he seems to be making up for that now! His SECOND favorite thing to do is to snuggle. But, of course, Gustavo's FIRST favorite thing is food. Yes, he dances, jumps, climbs, talks, or whatever it takes to get edibles. He has the stealth of a beagle to sneak into forbidden areas and the skill of a surfer when it comes to counters. Gustavo obediently goes to his crate to eat and uses a slow bowl to keep from inhaling his food. He is definitely not a picky eater and enjoys frozen veggies just as much as doggie ice cream. Don’t worry about overfeeding him because he is full of energy. A true wiggle butt with a tail that doesn’t stop wagging. Gustavo gets along well with other dogs and has fit right into his current pack with no issues. He loves car rides and walks with the two other dogs in his foster home. Cats are unknown, however, he has such an easy going disposition that we suspect neither should be an issue. Gustavo would be an awesome addition to any family who understands how to manage beagle food enthusiasm.
