HELIA IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!

08/02/13 UPDATE:  We are learning more about this sweet girl now that she has been relocated from her puppies - and it is all good! She seems to really enjoy children, she does great with other dogs and is okay with cats too. Helia is very affectionate and she is very vocal too - she sings when she yawns, and when she wants to go outside. She loves her walks, and does very well on her leash. Helia  truly does have a "sunny" disposition!

Helia’s name is Greek - pronounced ha-lee-ah – and it means “The Sun.” Her foster family says Helia IS sunshine! She is a slender, beautiful dog and has been a very relaxed mom - she came to us from Alabama with 8 puppies. The first night in her foster home she jumped on her foster mom’s lap and gave her some beagle love! She also appears to learn quickly as she mastered the two doggie doors on her first day as well.

Even though Helia has plenty of energy and can run like the wind, she has a calm and gentle disposition. She seems like she always has a smile on her face. Helia enjoys being with people as well as other dogs, loves to play inside and outside and walks well on leash. This little beagle is certainly going to make some lucky family very happy they adopted her!
